"This bulletin summarizes major contributions on the surficial geology produced by the Geo-mapping for Energy and Minerals (GEM) program in the last decade, and provides an updated understanding of the nature, distribution, and history of surficial deposits in Canada's North. The evolution of certain concepts and methods in surficial geology mapping and drift prospecting, as well as the advancement in various aspects of regional glacial histories, form the subject of the papers.
