"This Open File contains chromatogram traces from gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID, or simply GC) analysis of saturated fractions and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis of both saturated and aromatic hydrocarbon fractions of 47 drill core samples obtained from four wells drilled in the Norman Wells area (Table 1). The yields of solvent extractable organic matter and the SARA (saturate-aromatics-resin-asphaltene) compositions of the extracts for the core samples are also included in Table 1. The GC-FID traces and GC-MS mass chromatograms are presented in *.pdf (portable document file) format. All analytical work was done at the Organic Geochemistry Laboratory at the Calgary Office of the Geological Survey of Canada.
