"National Research Council (NRC) was tasked by Transport Canada (TC) to perform an assessment of Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM) as a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technique for use in identifying flaws and defects on tank cars. The objective of this feasibility study is to evaluate and compare the ACFM technology against the following established surface inspection techniques, liquid penetrant & magnetic particle"--Objective, page 12.
