"The Market Analysis Centre of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation commissioned Clayton Research Associates Limited to undertake a study entitled Local Indicators of Renovation Spending. The goal of the research was to determine the reliability of current measures of renovation activity at the level of Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs), and to make recommendations for the construction of comprehensive, reliable and timely indicators of that activity. In addition, the development of prototype indicators was to be explored for five sample CMAs: Saint John, Hull, Toronto, Edmonton and Victoria"--Introduction.
