"This report presents the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the horizontal evaluation of the Impact Assessment and Regulatory Processes (IARP) horizontal initiative, covering the period from 2018-19 to 2021-22. Goss Gilroy Inc. was contracted by the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) to conduct this independent evaluation under the oversight of an interdepartmental evaluation advisory committee. Data collection for the evaluation was conducted between June and November 2021. It responds to a Treasury Board commitment to support reporting on the horizontal initiative and to inform key decisions, such as renewal. The evaluation was conducted in accordance with the Treasury Board Policy on Results (2016) andsection 42.1 of the Financial Administration Act"--Introduction, page 1.
