"This paper surveys the applications of strip theory to low length to beam ratio (L/B) vessels (L/B < 7.0) in an attempt to establish the domain of L/B values and of Froude numbers in which strip theory predictions are reliable. A number of the papers that are included in this review contain direct comparisons between the predictions of strip theory and model test results for low L/B vessels"--Abstract, page ii.
