"This report begins by providing an overview of the decline of wild Pacific salmon in the Yukon. It describes the importance of Yukon Pacific salmon to Yukon First Nations and Alaska Natives and the impacts of declining salmon populations on their communities. The report then discusses potential causes of Pacific salmon decline in ocean and freshwater environments and how to address them. Lastly, it examines other tools and paths forward for the protection of wild Pacific salmon"--Page 10.
