The elements of the climate that are considered include climatic controls, wind, temperature, wind chill, precipitation, ceiling and visibility, aircraft icing, waves, structural icing, air pollution potential, and climatic variations. Analyses are generally presented in terms of means, extremes, percentage frequencies of occurrence, and design values.
