"An electromagnetic geophysical survey was conducted over First Landing Lake in the vicinity of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut as part of a study on lake taliks. Survey results show areas of high electrical conductivity associated with the shallow lake terrace. High electrical conductivity is interpreted to result from sublacustrine saline permafrost.
