"Investigations previous to those presented in this report have been carried out on an Armour-pouch dog concerning the effects of the gastric secretion on different raw sea foods fed by gastric fistula and also of various cooked preparations of haddock and lobster fed by mouth. In the present work the above investigations were continued by repeating some of the previous experiments on lobster and haddock on a Pavlov-pouch dog and also determining the effect of salmon and scallop muscle on the gastric secretion"--Page [1].
