This audit was undertaken to understand the extent to which the authority is used by the RCMP, assess whether the regulations are being complied with, and to inform potential updates to the regulations. … This audit examined the RCMP's policies, guidelines and processes related to the use of this authority between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2023.
