Climate change plan for Canada: En56-183/2003-1E

This plan examines how Canada will meet its climate change commitments. The plan is based on generally agreed scientific knowledge, which predicts disastrous long-term effects and immediate worrisome ones on the Canadian climate, such as insect infestations and hotter summers. The plan makes recommendations for industry, government, and individual involvement in meeting the challenge of climate change. It includes economic models to indicate that action on climate change would be manageable financially, as well as necessary.
