These information sheets discuss a range of important topics for parents of newborn babies. Part of the Postpartum Parent Support Program, the topics covered include bathing; breastfeeding; caesarean births; care of the foreskin; circumcision; cord care; being a new grandparent; home safety; breast milk; jaundice; the danger of shaking babies; exercise after a vaginal birth; postpartum adjustment; and sexuality after giving birth. There’s also a questionnaire called “You and Your New Baby.” Each topic is available in packages of 25. Intended for health care professionals implementing the program.
