This guidance document provides the information to help product licence applicants determine the evidence (amount and type of data) required to support the safety and efficacy of finished natural health products (NHPs). The intent of this document is to ensure that the requirements are rigorous enough to protect public health and increase consumer confidence, yet flexible enough for industry to develop useful NHPs while accommodating changing scientific developments.
