Survey of incomes in the legal profession in Canada, 1946, 1947 and 1948 .: CS13-D-63/1950E-PDF

"The Survey of Incomes in the Legal Profession is the third in a series of surveys of professional incomes conducted by the Research and Development Division of the Bureau of Statistics. Studies were previously made of the dental profession in 1945, and of the medical profession in 1947. Such surveys are part of a continuing program to improve statistics on the earnings of the various professions for use in national income estimates. The national income measures all earnings of Canadian residents from the production of goods and services during the calendar year. Accurate estimates are necessary in order to appraise the functioning of the economy and the various parts composing it"--Preface.
