"The feasibility of upgrading the North Toronto Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Storage and Treatment Facility was examined with respect to flow conditions and removal of suspended solids. Investigations of flows focused on increasing the flow capacity of treatment cells by two measures, reducing the final effluent weir height and streamlining the effluent channel. Both options were addressed by measurements in a physical scale model and computer simulations"--Abstract.
