Supporting culture and innovation : report on the provisions and operation of the Copyright Act: Iu4-19/2002

This report on the provisions and operation of the Copyright Act provides the basis for parliamentarians to engage in a dialogue on policy issues that underpin the Act. Following a discussion of copyright reform and copyright concepts, the report sets out the government’s assessment of the Act under two categories: recognition and protection of works and other subject matter, and access to and use of works and other subject matter. It also sets out the government’s recommendations for copyright reform.
