"The present study, one of a series initiated by the Departmental Statistics Division, deals with the financial and manpower statistics of the Indian and Eskimo Affairs Program; it allows a comparative analysis of expenditures and manpower data for a four-fiscal year period beginning with 1968-1969. The results of this study are reported in three volumes. Volume I deals with general introduction, background, terminology and explanatory notes. Volumes II and III deal with the expenditure statistics, and manpower statistics, respectively."--Preface.
