"In accordance with the Performance Assurance Internal Audit Plan for 2004-2005, an audit of staffing transactions was conducted in February and March 2005. This audit focused on the following objectives: Objective 1: To assess the extent to which staffing processes/procedures are in compliance with the Public Service Employment Act, Regulations, Orders, PSC Staffing Delegation, and PSC policies, Principle of Merit as well as values of fairness, equity of access and transparency.
