Regression coefficients and equations used to develop the winter 2024-25 aircraft ground deicing holdover time tables / prepared by: Peter Kitchener.T52-4/118-2024E-PDF

"Systems that measure temperature, precipitation type and precipitation rate in real time, and use that data to provide holdover time guidance information, are a relatively new development in the aircraft ground de/anti-icing industry. These systems, referred to as liquid water equivalent systems (LWES), and in specific forms as holdover time determination systems (HOTDS) or check time determination systems (CTDS), use the weather data they measure and holdover time regression information provided to them to calculate holdover times that are more specific than the ranges currently provided in the Holdover Time (HOT) Guidelines"--Executive summary, page vii.
