This motion required the Committee to undertake a study examining the implications of artificial intelligence for the Canadian labour force in different regions, organized labour, workforce sectors, people of diverse age groups, genders, income levels and races, and persons with disabilities. During its study, the Committee heard about the potential impacts artificial intelligence could have on productivity and growth, privacy, and workers with diverse identities, as well as training and supports issues for workplaces.
