This report examines group travel to determine the types of visitor experiences that are in demand so that tour operators can better “package” experiences. The report presents a list of six essential ingredients for building memorable group tour experiences; an 11-item checklist of the steps to evaluate existing packages or create new ones; a decision-making tool for tour planners to assess the potential of their tours; and information that could be used for conducting a consumer travel packaging study.
