'The objective of this report is to assess the current sodium intakes of Canadians in light of the recent voluntary sodium reductions in processed foods using the most recent national dietary survey, the 2015 Canadian Community Health Survey – Nutrition (2015 CCHS). The evaluation of population sodium intakes required data on food intake of Canadians and on sodium levels in food. Details on how the analysis was conducted are provided in the Annex"--Results, p. 6.
