"The Public Health Agency of Canada protects the health of people in Canada by responding to outbreaks of enteric illness in which there are ill individuals in more than one province or territory. A key step in the identification of the source of an outbreak is to compare foods eaten by ill individuals affected by the outbreak to foods eaten by the general population ... The Foodbook 2.0 Report summarizes the food, water and animal exposure information collected through the survey. Data are summarized nationally, by province and territory of residence, and by a number of demographic characteristics (age, gender, household income, education level and ethnicity)"--Introduction, page 6.
