"In this report the manufacturing industries of Canada are dealt with in two parts. Part I gives general analyses including the historical development of manufacturing; detailed treatment of current production under arious groupings and by individual industries; and principal factors in manufacturing production such as capital, employment, salaries and wages, size of establishment, and power and fuel. Part II deals with the provincial and local distribution of manufacturing production"--1948 issue, p. 5.
