Statistics on Canada’s total exports and imports are followed by statistics on exports and imports by province or territory, which are broken down by source, authorization and exchange type (e.g., firm sales, interruptible sales, purchase). Also includes statistics on exports and imports by destination and source, and on the source of production (e.g., Canadian coal, imported oil, natural gas) of exported electricity. All monthly statistics are compared with totals for the year to date, and include the cost of the electricity (in Canadian dollars).
